Have Dental Pain or Experiencing an Oral Injury?
If you’re experiencing dental pain or just had an injury, it’s time to see a dentist for emergency care. Dental pain can account for a wide range of oral issues, from cavities and tooth decay to a dental abscess.
Especially if you have an oral injury (trauma to the mouth), it’s important to seek a dentist and not an urgent care hospital. Here at Havertown Dental Arts, we have the knowledge, experience, and technology to treat your condition and give you the quality dental care you need!

What is a Dental Emergency?
The most common causes of a dental emergency include:

Do I Need a Tooth Extraction?

The most common reasons for a dental extraction include:
Severe tooth decay or infection may make it impossible or too costly to repair a tooth
Advanced gum disease may require a tooth to be pulled, so it doesn't affect the supporting tissues and bone structures of your mouth
A tooth may be extracted if it is blocking other teeth from coming in
During orthodontic work, teeth may need to be removed to create room for the teeth that are being moved into place
Wisdom teeth are often extracted either before or after they come in
How Can You Repair My Smile?
Eliminating your pain and protecting your smile are important to us. As a result, our same-day emergency services can help ease your pain quickly and get your smile started on the road to recovery.
We are proud to offer a wide range of restorative procedures that will help you get your smile back to its natural glory. From same-day tooth extractions to same-day root canals, we have you covered with:

Our Insurance Options
Our team can assist you in examining your dental insurance plan to determine the extent of its coverage. Typically, routine checkups, cleanings, and similar services are fully covered. Restorative treatments such as fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, and root canal therapy may receive coverage ranging from 50 to 80 percent, depending on the insurance provider. It's important to note that cosmetic treatments are usually not covered unless they offer a health benefit as well. By thoroughly reviewing your dental insurance plan, we can help you understand the specific coverage details and make informed decisions about your dental care.
By being in-network with numerous common dental insurance providers, we can maximize the savings you receive under your specific plan. This means that we can offer you the highest level of cost savings available.
